How do I know if my jewelry is real gold?
Look for karat stamps (10K, 14K, 18K, 24K, 375, 585, 750, 916, 999) usually found on clasps, inside bands, or on tags. If you're unsure, send us photos and we can help identify it. We also accept items of unknown purity — we test everything when received.
Is it safe to mail gold?
Yes. We recommend USPS Registered Mail with insurance for the estimated value. This provides tracking, requires signatures at every transfer point, and is the most secure shipping method available. We'll walk you through the process.
What if I don't accept the offer?
No problem at all. We return your items via insured mail at our expense. There is zero obligation. Many people send items just to get an expert evaluation.
Do you buy gold-plated or gold-filled items?
Generally no. Gold-plated and gold-filled items contain very little actual gold. However, if you have a large quantity, reach out and we can discuss. We're always happy to help identify what you have.
How quickly will I get paid?
